Sarah

Sarah is a certified Stott Pilates Reformer instructor. She is studying for a Master’s degree in Dance at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. In addition to teaching Pilates, she works as a dancer, choreographer, and researcher. She holds a B.A. in Dance from the Hamburg School of Contemporary Dance. She has danced with choreographers such as Erika Silgoner and Jason Mabana. In Hamburg, she worked with Yolanda Morales (Horses, 2021), Sebastiano Toma (Company 2525, Brain, 2020), and the international women’s collective Kollektiva. At the Hamburg Kultursommer 2021, she created “ArtandIntersection” at the Fabrik der Künste with Nadja Häussler and TonaLi e.V. She has created performances for and with children: with Nadja Häussler, she collaborated with the urban art collective Wallscandance and the Tanzcompagnie Süderelbe for the site-specific performance project Wallscandancehoch5 (2022), funded by NPN. In Dis-tanz Solo 2021, she developed “Stay Soft: Functional Training and Community Processes for a Recurrent Tanzpraxis,” which is now being pursued in her Master’s studies. In 2022, she is in residence at the Eisfabrik Hannover for the abruptly discovered research of the ocean with Astrid Bramming. In 2023, she performed Stadtgeflüster on stage with Zeit für Tanz Hamburg at the Wiese Hamburg e.V.
